Lisa Hogan attends conferences in San Diego and Pittsburg and attends Perioperative Nursing Delegation in South Africa

Lisa Hogan, CRNA, DNP, assistant program director and assistant clinical profesor, School of Nurse Anesthesia, gave a poster presentation at the Third National Doctor of Nursing Practice Conference in San Diego, CA in September and a podium presentation at the Greater Pittsburg Annual Nursing Research Conference in Pittsburg, PA in October entitled "Quality Improvement Study Examining the Effects of  Education on Noise Levels in the Operating Room." In November, she accompanied a Perioperative Nursing Delegation to South Africa and presented an overview of perioperative nursing in the United States with an emphasis on the advanced practice nurse and nurse anesthesia at the Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg and the GF Jooste Hospital, Manenberg, South Africa.
